Symphony looses long time member
It's with sadness that we report the loss of a long time member of the Symphony. Cellist Stephanie Bryce passed away Friday, June 1st from complications resulting from an automobile accident.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday June 5th, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS. The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the Pittsburg State University Music Department or the Local Humane Society.
Stephanie received her Bachelor's Degree with honors in Music from St. Cloud State University, a Master's Degree in Music pedagogy at Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana, and a second Master's Degree in Cello Performance under the direction of Dr. Martin at Pittsburg State University.
We certainly extend our deepest condolences from the members of the Symphony.
