Tribute to Dr. AuBuchon

A Mr. Bulk-E message to all PSU Employees:

To: Faculty and staff
From: Division of University Advancement Directors

The Southeast Kansas Symphony will present an evening of patriotic music in tribute to Dr. James M. AuBuchon who is retiring in September after 39 years of service to Pittsburg State University. The concert will be presented at 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27, at the PSU Veterans Memorial Amphitheater. The concert is open to the public. There is no admission charge. Seating is limited.

Dr. AuBuchon, PSU Vice President for University Advancement, has served as the project director of the PSU Veterans Memorial Amphitheater, overseeing its design, fundraising, construction and ongoing operations and programming.

The Southeast Kansas Symphony, under the direction of Stella Hastings, will perform in the Brock Family Amphitheater. Refreshments will be served immediately following the concert in the Guy and Claire Sutherland Entrance Plaza. Guests are encouraged to dress casually for an outdoor setting. Seating is available on the concrete steps of the amphitheater so guests may want to bring stadium cushions. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in McCray Hall.
